SESSION - Three Story Asks that will Increase Your Donor Response and Raise You More Money
The easiest way to raise more money immediately, and in the future, is to present your donors with a compelling ASK. In this session, you will learn how to use storytelling to create three different ask sentences that you can start to use immediately in your appeals, newsletters, and when you talk with a donor face to face. These ask sentences get more donors to respond. With these three ask sentences, your fundraising with take on a whole new life.
SESSION - How to Raise 21% more money next year with your appeals, e-appeals, and newsletters
In this session, you'll get a framework for how to create an annual plan that will raise you more money. You’ll discover how appeals, e-appeals, and newsletters can be scheduled and built on each other so that your donors become more engaged and give larger gifts. Organizations who have used this framework raised an average of 21% more money in the first year they implemented this framework.
SESSION - The First Draft of Your Next Appeal
Writing an appeal can be daunting. But during this session, Steven Screen will make it easy for you. So easy in fact, that you will leave the session with a really good first draft of your appeal already written. How is this possible? Well, Steven has written most of your first draft for you. He will walk you through customizing his first draft so that you have an appeal that’s very effective at raising money. Imagine going back to your office, after the conference is over, with your next appeal written!
SESSION - How to write stories for your newsletter
Newsletters, when they are properly written, can bring in a lot of money. In this session you are going to learn how to write stories in such a way that your donors want to give you more money. A well written story is the difference between raising a little bit of money and a lot of money. Come to this session and learn how to craft newsletter stories that engage and connect with donors.
SESSION - How to write a donor reporting letter
When donors know their gift made a difference, they are more likely to give you another gift. A good donor reporting letter shows the donor her gift made a difference. And right now is the best time to send your donors a donor reporting letter. Because, as we head into the year-end fundraising season, you should be reporting back to all your donors. If you’ve report back to them, your donors are more likely to send you a donation at year-end. During this session, you will learn how to write an effective donor reporting letter…AND you will walk out of the session with a donor reporting letter that you’ll be able to send to donors right away.
SESSION - Your Year-End fundraising appeals and emails written in 90 minutes
This may sound crazy, but you can have an effective year-end fundraising appeal written during this 90 minute session. And not only that, you will also have your year-end fundraising emails written as well. In this session, you'll learn how to write your year-end appeals and e-appeals. We’ll walk you through line by line, so by the time you’re done with this session, you’ll have all your year-end appeals and e-appeals written. You’ll also have the exact dates on when to send your appeals and e-appeals. And by the way, the type of appeal you'll write in this session has out performed most other appeals year after year.
SESSION - Why your organization should create a Gift Catalog and why they work so well
More and more organizations are creating gift catalogs. Why? Because they work incredibly well in bringing in extra money for your organization. What is a gift catalog? They are catalogs with multiple mini stories that show donors how they can make a difference. Donors love gift catalogs. In this session, you will learn how to create your own gift catalog and learn how to craft mini stories that get donors to open up their wallets and help your cause.
SESSION - The Major Donor Magic Formula for determining how much to ask for
What amount of money should you ask a major donor to give you? In this session, you'll learn a simple formula that will get you raising more money from your major donors. Also during this session, you'll learn how to construct and put the right ask in front of your major donors. If you’ve ever wondered about what to ask your majors for, you should come to this session.
