John Lepp

I am a marketer, designer, and ranter, with decades of experience in design and direct response.

I'm a partner at Agents of Good, a fundraising and communications collaboration, led by myself and Jen Love, that is solely focused on #donorlove. Jen describes me as “authentic.” I'm known to wear my heart on my sleeve and, when provoked, I will wave my hands and raise his voice an octave as I voice frustration and opinions.

In my current role, I work with charities and agencies around the world to help tell better stories and to inspire donors to give, both online and offline.

My favorite storyteller is...

...Stories are what define us as humans. As individuals and as tribes. Our values and emotions, our sense of history and who we strive to be are all shaped by the stories we tell and that are told to us. Long ago, I learned the power of story telling from my mother. Mom didn’t just share a tale. She was never a passive witness to a moment. There was drama and rushes of emotion. She brought you into the story with her vibrant words and facial expressions. Mom continues to teach me how to tell and share stories and reminds me why they continue to be so valuable.
